The Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH) 7.62 provides

protection against 7.62mm threat rounds. The ACH

7.62 uses advanced thermoplastic materials that require

different manufacturing processes than those associated

with resin impregnated para aramids. The materials are

ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene.
